Obituary

Carol Jean Fulghum Fox, 66, of Memphis passed away on July 26th, 2021 at Baptist Reynolds Hospice House after a short battle with renal cancer. Carol was born in Memphis, TN on June 29th, 1955 to George and Dorothy Fulghum. She was a 1973 graduate of East High School.

Carol was a loving mother who adored her two sons, Christmastime, and creating beautiful floral arrangements. She was a creative spirit and a beloved friend to many. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of her acquaintance. Carol was preceded in death by father George Albert Fulghum, mother Dorothy Jean Breitenstein Fulghum, and ex-husband and dear friend John Clinton Fox. She is survived by sons Justin Conrad Fox and John Albert Fox, as well as sisters Mara Fulghum Sprott and Anne Fulghum Ontiveros.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, August 7th at First Baptist Church with funeral service to follow visitation. Interment will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery - Midtown.
The family would like to extend their sincerest thanks to the staff at Baptist Reynolds Hospice House for their exceptional care during Carol's final phase of life.
