It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share that our beautiful Mother and Mamaw has gone home to be with the Lord.
To know our mom was to know unconditional love.
She spent her life putting God first, loving her family fiercely, and caring for others before herself. She loved hard and cared even harder, and found her greatest joy in her family.
Her faith guided every step she took, and her kindness touched countless lives.
While our hearts are broken, we find comfort that she is now reunited with those she loved so dearly. She is now in the loving arms of her husband Richard of 53 years who passed away just six months ago. We can only imagine the joy of their reunion.
She is also reunited with her parents Tom and Jean Forsythe, whom she loved and cherished throughout her life.
She adored her brothers David (Charlotte) Forsythe and Charles (Carol) Forsythe and treasured the bond they shared.
Her greatest pride and blessing was her family. She loved her children deeply.
Richie (Karin) Dreher and Carla (Pina) De Leon.
She was the proud and loving Mamaw to Andrew (Shelby) Dreher, Abby (Brian) Smith, Stephen De Leon, Emily Dreher, and Caleb Dreher.
Nothing brought a bigger smile than her precious great-grandchildren.
Creed Smith, Conner Dreher, Harlyn Smith, Olivia Dreher, Beau Smith and Julius De Leon.
Each one held a special place in her heart and brought her joy.
She loved God and was a devoted and faithful member of Southaven Church of Christ for many years. The church family was deeply important to her. Her legacy of faith, kindness, and service will continue to inspire others.
She dedicated many years of her life as an Activity Director, where she found her true purpose in serving others. She loved her residents as if they were her family, advocating for them and ensuring they were treated with the dignity, respect, and compassion they deserved. She poured her heart into every day, believing that the smallest act of kindness could make a lasting difference.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral service. She wanted her life to be celebrated quietly and privately by her immediate family in Petit Jean, AR in her favorite month of October.
Sharing memories, laughter, tears, and the love she spent a lifetime giving to all of us.
We are grateful for every prayer, every kind word, and every person who loved her throughout her life.
The greatest way to honor her memory is to love your family deeply, put God first, show kindness freely, and cherish every moment with those you love, just as she did.
Though our hearts ache from her absence, we know her love will never leave us. She will always be our Mother and Mamaw forever in our hearts, our stories, and our lives.
