Bonnie Lois
Hall
Jul 22, 1931 — Sep 27, 2026
Bonnie Lois Hall, 95, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2026. She was born July 22, 1931, in Blue Springs, Mississippi, to George F. Gaines and Mary Lucille Rakestraw.
Bonnie was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord deeply. She attended Piperton United Methodist Church and later Christ the Rock. Sundays were especially important to her, and whenever she was physically unable to attend church, she faithfully watched preachers on television. Her faith was a meaningful part of her life and was something she carried with her throughout the years.
Bonnie was a hard worker who held several jobs throughout her life. One of her first positions was as an accountant at Wonder Products. She later worked for several years at Collierville Lumber Company before finishing her working career at Cavalier Cleaners.
Those who knew Bonnie will remember her for her outstanding personality. She was friendly, outgoing, and truly never met a stranger. She loved people and especially loved her family. She was an animal lover and adored her beloved cat, Eli, who passed away not long before Bonnie. Bonnie also earned the affectionate title of the "Yard Sale Queen of Collierville," as she loved both having yard sales and going to them. She had a special love for jewelry and anything that sparkled.
Most of all, Bonnie cherished her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through her two daughters, Jill Mills and Paula M. Hall; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her sister, Patty Cranmer (John). She was preceded in death by her parents, George F. Gaines and Mary Lucille Rakestraw; her husbands, James W. Hailey and James H. Hall; her sons, Ronnie Franklin Hailey and Rickey Rand Hailey; and her sisters, Mary Pebble Bradford and Marcelle Webb.
Bonnie will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warm personality, strong faith, love for her family, and zest for life will be remembered and cherished for years to come.
