Betty JoAnne Rustemeyer Vaughn passed away on November 5, 2017 at the age of 84. She leaves her husband of 66 years Jack L. Vaughn, Sr. Daughter of the late Rev. Frank Culver Rustemeyer and Thelma Inez Bell. Accomplished pianist and church organist from age 16. She was an avid quilter and gardener. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints having served in the temple and various leadership positions in the women's and children's organizations. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Patsy (J.T.) New of Collierville, TN; Debbie (Art) Sandridge of Atlanta, GA; 3 sons, Mark (Kathy) Vaughn of Salisbury, PA; Jack (Brenda) Vaughn, Jr., of Boynton, PA; David (Kathy) Vaughn of Denver, CO; 1 sister, Marilyn Strong of Middletown, OH. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Friday, November 10 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Collierville with service to follow at 11. Interment will be at Magnolia Cemetery in Collierville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
