Betty Elise Gallina, 91, was born December 20, 1926 in Memphis, TN to the late Charles and Elise Van Dresser and passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018. She was Catholic and co-owner of Gallina's Exchange Restaurant on Summer Avenue for many years with her husband, Paul. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Connie Gallina; sister, Shirley Wallin; daugther-in-law, Tammy Gallina; and son-in-law, Michael Angelo. She is survived by daughter, Marelise Angelo; three sons, Charles "Hunt" Gallina (Mary), Paul Gallina, Jr., Phillip Gallina; six grandchildren, Marguerite Long (Steve), Mary Everett Woodard (Joey), Lenzi Costa (Mike), Christopher Gallina, Elisabeth Gallina, Whitney Elise Gallina; and seven great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 3, at Elmwood Cemetery immediately followed by a gathering in Elmwood Chapel. Memorials may be sent to American Cancer Society, American Kidney Foundation, American Heart Association or to Humane Society.
