Anna Elizabeth Tanner born April 23, 1929 in Newbern, TN. She passed away peacefully at age 90 on February 3, 2020 at her home in the arms of her only daughter with her granddaughter Anna by her side. She leaves her husband, John Tanner, 93 years old and was married 73 years. She leaves behind her only child Phyllis Tanner Blount and her son-in-law Stan Blount that she adored. She also leaves her 2 beloved grandchildren that she loved with all her heart and were her world, Anna Elizabeth Blount and Austin Michael Blount. She was the caregiver for her husband that has dementia and deaf for the past 6 years. Visitation is at High Point Funeral Home Wednesday, February 12 at 11:00 am with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm. Burial will be at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
