Elizabeth Leach born to the late Sam and Phillis (Simmons) Leach in Tchula, Mississippi on March 30, 1927; she was the second of three children. She is survived by her younger brother, Sam Leach, Jr. of Greenwood, Mississippi and was preceded in death by her older brother, F.S. Leach of Greenwood, Mississippi.

A resident of Greenwood, Mississippi since 1938; Elizabeth owned and operated a Snowball Stand on Avenue M across from the Broad Street Park for more than 20 years. She passed away at the age of 86 on January 18, 2014 at Methodist Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee and will be cremated.

She was mother to Frances M. (Leach) Martin of Memphis, TN and grandmother to Esseck A. Martin Jr. (Tracy) of Maryland and Ralph F. Martin (Anita) of Minnesota; great-grandmother of 10: Asianne Martin and Erick Martin of Maryland; Natalie Hudson of Colorado; Brittany Gillispie (Michael), Raven Martin, Christopher Martin, Ralph Martin Jr., Mon Carlos Wilson of Tennessee; Kalista Martin of Minnesota, and Keran Martin of Tennessee, who preceded her in death.

Elizabeth also leaves behind 11 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
